Concerned citizens sees suspicious activity at Lowe’s and calls Madera Police | City of Madera Police Department

This is what happens when concerned citizens step up to the plate and take responsibility for their community and work with the police department. Great job!

Yesterday at about 4pm officers were dispatched to Lowe’s on Cleveland Ave. regarding suspicious circumstances, involving two females. Upon arrival Rosa Gonzalez and Wendy Martinez were located in a U-Haul rented van. They both gave very different stories as to what they were doing in the area. They were found to be from southern California, in possession of illegal drugs and several fraudulent credit cards. Due to evidence found in the van it appears that they were traveling up and down the central valley committing acts of fraud. Thanks to this concerned citizen, together we were able to prevent these two from victimizing more innocent people. MT
