Search Warrant nets two arrested for stolen property, methamphetamine and child endangerment | Madera County Sheriff’s Office

On 03/17/17, The Madera Special Investigations Unit and #MCSODetectives served a search warrant at a residence in the Yosemite Lakes Park (YLP) area. Nelson Mendez and Tiffany Quarles were arrested for being in possession of $1,000 dollars worth of stolen property, for possessing methamphetamine with the intent to sell, and child endangerment related charges.

The search warrant was a result of an investigation of several vehicle and residential burglaries in the Oakhurst, YLP, and Indian Lakes area. Nelson Mendez, a convicted felon who is prohibited from possessing firearms, was also found to be in possession of a stolen Derringer handgun.

Both Nelson and Tiffany were booked into Madera DOC.
